Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore is an amazing Hollywood author and actress whose talents have earned an acclaim from critics as well as recognition. She's a Sagittarius born on December 3, 1960 in North Carolina. She's one of the three oldest children to Peter Moore Smith and Anne Smith. Peter was a paratrooper. The Moore family is English, Scottish and of mixed descent. Moore's dad moved around often due to his job. It was it difficult for her to meet or keep friends. Moore started acting in play after she relocated with her family members to Germany. The school she attended was Boston University where she graduated in 1983 with a B.F.A. in Theater. Moore started her theater career off Broadway in New York, after she graduated. Her first appearance was in an episode of The Edge of Night, which aired on television in 1985. In 1986, she was given the dual roles as Sabrina Hughes, and Frannie Hughes in the As the World Turns. This role gave her the opportunity to break through and led to her successful career. In 1988 she played an actor in the series and was awarded the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990 she debuted on the screen with Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. Short Cuts (1997) and 3 Women (1993), each Robert Altman productions, were her first films. She received several nominations and received praise for her first film. Moore landed her first role as a lead with the film Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg's choice to cast Moore in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which is among the highest grossing films from 1997, represented a huge moment in her career. In 1999, she was a part of the critically-acclaimed Magnolia and was awarded a SAG Award nomination in recognition of her work. In 2002, she co-starred with The Hours which got nominated for nine Academy Awards with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep. Moore is also featured in The Forgotten (2004), Freedomland 2006, Shelter 2010, etc. Non-Stop premiered in 2014. Moore has appeared in numerous movies and television shows. Most recently, she was in starring roles is In 2022: When You Finish Securing the World. The actress has made herself known in Hollywood and is also an author for children. In 2007 she released Freckleface Strawberry and quickly became a N.Y.T. Best-seller, it was also made into a series as well as a music. Her 2013 book, My Mom is a Foreigner was also a best-seller. Moore is a successful actor and author she has also made her private life public. In 1984 she married John Robin and in 1995 they separated. Bart Freundlich, whom Moore was later married in 2003 is a father of two with Moore. Moore is an individual who is devoted to her family and career.
